Review by hotel critic
During our recent family vacation in Marseille, we stayed at the ibis budget Marseille Prado Parc des Expositions, and it was a suitable option for our short trip. The hotel’s location near the Velodrome Stadium made it convenient for us to catch a game. The check-in and check-out processes were seamless, allowing us to make the most of our time exploring the area. Our room was on the smaller side, just right for a night’s stay, but it was clean and comfortable—perfect for recharging after our outings. Fresh towels were provided every day, and the bed, while simple, offered a cosiness that we appreciated. Breakfast was basic, featuring pastries and eggs, which was perfect for a quick meal before our adventures. We also enjoyed a surprisingly good coffee from the machine. I must mention one staff member who stood out with her helpfulness, making us feel welcome. While the hotel is simple, it provided the necessary family-friendly amenities that allowed us to enjoy our time in beautiful Marseille without going over budget. It’s a solid choice for families looking for practicality.
